Shuttle

 Shuttle schedule

In an effort to reduce INTA’s carbon footprint, shuttle service during this year’s Annual Meeting will begin on Sunday evening instead of Saturday. Shuttles will begin at 4:00 pm Sunday and will bring you to and from the Opening Reception. Shuttles will run from 7:00 am-11:00 am on Monday to Wednesday from select hotels.  Please consult the Annual Meeting portal, check in your hotel lobby or visit the Registration Desk to get a copy of the full shuttle schedule. Some hotels are within easy walking distance to the WCC and you can use this map to see which hotels are close to metro stations.

The Washington, D.C. area offers an easy to use and convenient metro system that can be used to travel around the city. Visit http://www.wmata.com/ for more information, fares and to plan your trip. D.C. also has a bus system which you can find more information about at DC Circulator.

Another useful resource is Hop Stop, which gives door-to-door transit, walking and biking direction in Washington D.C.

Washington DC Airports

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)

IAD is a public airport in Dulles, Virginia, 26 miles (41.6 km) west of downtown Washington, D.C. The airport serves the Baltimore-Washington-Northern Virginia metropolitan area centered on the District of Columbia, and is approximately a 35- to 45-minute ride to downtown in non-rush-hour traffic. Of the three airports, IAD handles more daily flights, with more than 30 airlines flying nonstop to 127 destinations, including 43 cities outside of the U.S. And though the airport is not as convenient to the heart of Washington as National, it's more convenient than Baltimore Washington International (BWI) , thanks to an uncongested airport access road that travels half the distance toward Washington.

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)

DCA is located in Arlington, VA just across the Potomac River from the Nation’s Capital, four miles south of D.C., a trip of only a few minutes by car, 15 to 20 minutes by Metro in non-rush-hour traffic. Its proximity to the District and its direct access to the Metro rail system are reasons why you might want to fly into DCA.
