Guest Badges
A guest is a spouse, significant other, child, family member or friend whose occupation is unrelated to the trademark industry. Associates within the trademark industry and co-workers are not eligible for a guest badge. Guest badges include INTA conference transportation, attendance at the Welcome Reception and Grand Finale, continental breakfasts and breaks in the Hospitality Area, and access to the Exhibition Hall. A guest badge does not include access to educational sessions, and guests are thus not eligible for CLE credits and CPD points. Guests of attendees are not listed in the Final Program and Attendee List.
Important Note: In the past few years, INTA has seen an increase in the number of persons trying to register business colleagues as Guests and engaging in other practices designed to avoid payment of the registration fee for the Annual Meeting. Please note that anyone found to be:
1) Attempting to falsely register as a Guest;
2) Counterfeiting, copying or sharing badges; or
3) Using a Guest Badge when he/she is not eligible for a Guest Badge
may be subject to sanctions up to and including removal from the Annual Meeting and revocation of INTA membership.
