2024 Annual Meeting Registration Approaches 9,000—See Who’s Coming

Published: April 10, 2024

Close to 9,000 registrants from 135 jurisdictions have signed up for the 2024 Annual Meeting. With the Meeting returning to the United States this year—following the successful Annual Meeting in Singapore last May—it is not surprising that the largest contingent is from the U.S., with 2,770 registrants. In terms of registrants by jurisdiction, the U.S. is followed by China (577), the United Kingdom (485), Germany (384), India (336), Canada (238), and Japan (230). Mexico (219), Brazil (212), and France (194) round out the top 10.

Looking at the current data by region paints a similar picture with North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific regions accounting for close to 80 percent of all registrants:

Registrants by Region (as of April 10, 2024)

North America 3,007
Europe 2,265
Asia-Pacific 1,677
Latin America and the Caribbean 1,073
South Asia 391
Middle East and North America 215
Sub-Saharan Africa 179

Close to 1,000 brand owner representatives from 39 jurisdictions have already signed up. In addition, registrants come from intellectual property offices and government agencies, law firms, academia, and service provider companies.

With 392 free bulk registrations to date, many organizations are taking advantage of the bulk discount rates. Apple Inc.; Bytedance; Chanel Limited; China Kweichow Moutai (Group) Distillery Co., Ltd.; Ford Motor Company, Mars, Incorporated, Meta Platforms, Inc., LG Corp, Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co., Inc.; Nestlé; PepsiCo, Inc.; Ralph Lauren Corporation; TikTok Inc.; Tencent; and Warner Media are among those sending six or more team members.

Currently, Amazon, Inc. is sending the largest delegation to Atlanta. Dana Northcott, Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Amazon’s Intellectual Property team and the 2024 INTA President, explained, “I try to send as many of my colleagues as possible to the Annual Meeting because of the opportunity to engage with trademark and other IP leaders, academics, and brands from around the world. Engaging with the INTA community through committee work, as well as the many networking opportunities, is priceless.”

In terms of bulk discount rates, for corporate registrants, one complimentary registration is given to those who purchase three corporate registrations for the Annual Meeting. For associate registrants, a complimentary registration is given to those who purchase five registrations for the Annual Meeting.

Registration remains open through Wednesday, May 15. Onsite registration opens May 18 with the start of the Meeting.
