New for 2015!

INTA presents several new ways to conduct business during the Annual Meeting.

Take advantage of one of several venues to hold your business meetings in the San Diego Convention Center or the Headquarters Hotel.  Your clients and colleagues will appreciate the convenience of being only steps away from sessions, committee meetings and the Exhibition Hall.  And there are options for meetings of all sizes and for various budgets.

Event Spaces at the Headquarters Hotel: Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina

  • Three or more members from your organization must be registered for the 2015 Annual Meeting in order to reserve event space at the headquarters hotel.
  • INTA will review your request and upon approval will communicate with the hotel to start working with you to secure space for your event.
  • Access to meeting space in the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina will require a 2015 INTA Annual Meeting attendee badge. All attendees of your event must display their Annual Meeting badge to access the area where the event will be held. Guest passes will not be available. Please be certain to communicate this to all attendees of your event well in advance. For convenience a remote registration area will be open during registration hours on Saturday and Sunday at the Marriott Marquis. No exceptions will be made for persons without an INTA badge trying to enter any meeting.
  • Your event is only permitted during agreed upon hours by INTA, event host(s) and Hotel.
  • Space is courtesy of INTA with F&B minimum contracted directly with hotel.  You will be responsible for your own A/V and any other logistic needs.
  • The proximity between the SDCC and the Marriot Marquis makes it very convenient for your staff and guests to join you at your event.
  • The meeting space will have security provided by INTA at access points to check badges.
  • Concierge service (Saturday and Sunday) will be available to ensure satisfaction and answer any questions.

Event spaces at the San Diego Convention Center

Reserved Hospitality

Appearances are everything! You can reserve your own hospitality table in an exclusive area of the Exhibition Hall by the half-day or by full-day in the Exhibition Hall. Our reserved hospitality area offers a more professional and exclusive setting to have your face-to-face communication with your client in a reserved section of the Hospitality area in the Exhibition Hall. We will have different table sizes to accommodate your needs, and you won't have to share a table with anyone else! There will also be food and beverages provided for just this area.

  • Access to Reserved Hospitality Tables in the Exhibition Hall will require a 2015 INTA Annual Meeting attendee badge. All attendees of your event must display their Annual Meeting badge to access the area where the event will be held. Guest passes will not be available. Please be certain to communicate this to all attendees of your event well in advance. No exceptions will be made for persons without an INTA badge trying to enter any meeting.
  • Tables in Reserved Hospitality will be available for a nominal fee on Saturday, May 2, 10:00am-7:00pm, Sunday, May 3, 8:00am-7:00pm, Monday, May 4, 8:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday, May 5, 8:00am-5:00pm, Wednesday, May 6, 8:00am-4:00pm.

Premium Hospitality

Do you need to meet with clients in a space that's not a coffee shop, hotel lobby or a crowded hospitality area with no privacy? It's time to upgrade. This semi-private area can host up to 50 people and it is a great space to host a private networking event such as breakfast, lunch or reception for your clients. There is no need to travel off-site for a meeting when you can have your meeting at the San Diego Convention Center. 

  • Access to the Premium Hospitality Area will require a 2015 INTA Annual Meeting attendee badge. All attendees of your event must display their Annual Meeting badge to access the area where the event will be held. Guest passes will not be available. Please be certain to communicate this to all attendees of your event well in advance. No exceptions will be made for persons without an INTA badge trying to enter any meeting.
  • Premium Hospitality will be available for a fee Saturday, May 2, 10:00am-7:00pm, Sunday, May 3, 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday, May 4, 8:00am-7:00pm, Tuesday, May 5, 8:00am-7:00pm, Wednesday, May 6, 8:00am-3:00pm.

INTA Session Rooms

INTA has a variety of session rooms at the San Diego Convention Center for rent for your next seminar or training course for your clients at the Annual Meeting in San Diego! These session rooms for up to 800 attendees will be equipped with standard audio visual, head table, theatre seating, etc... and will provide a great learning environment for your clients! Rooms are available at certain times from Saturday to Wednesday.

  • Access to the INTA Session Rooms will require a 2015 INTA Annual Meeting attendee badge. All attendees of your event must display their Annual Meeting badge to access the area where the event will be held. Guest passes will not be available. Please be certain to communicate this to all attendees of your event well in advance. No exceptions will be made for persons without an INTA badge trying to enter any meeting.
  • A limited number of INTA session rooms will be available for a fee Saturday, May 2, 11;00 am-5:00 pm, Sunday, May 3, 10:00am-4:00 pm, Monday, May 4, 8:00am-10:00 am, 1:15 pm-3:15 pm, 5:00 pm-7:00 pm Tuesday, May 5 8:00am-10:00 am, 1:15 pm-3:15 pm, 5:00 pm-7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 6 8:00am-10:00 am, 1:15 pm-3:15 pm.

Exclusive Meeting Rooms - Available to current Corporate Members only

Reserve a private room at the San Diego Convention Center for your event!  There is no charge for the space; pay for food & beverage and A/V costs only.

  • Company must be a 2015 INTA corporate member.
  • Three or more members from your organization must be registered for the 2015 Annual Meeting in order to reserve exclusive meeting room space in the SDCC.
  • Space can be reserved for half-day or full-day increments from Saturday, May 2 to Wednesday, May 6.
  • Catering will be managed directly by event host(s) with SDCC. No outside catering is allowed without permission from SDCC catering.
  • A/V will be managed directly by event host(s) through Freeman AV.
  • Internet connections will be managed directly by event host(s) with Smart City.
  • Event hosts may bring their own signage (SDCC will provide easel).
  • Cancellation notification by event host(s) to INTA must be received in writing 4 weeks prior to the first start date of the event.
  • Exclusive Meeting Rooms will be available Saturday, May 2 10:00 am-7:00 pm, Sunday, May 3, 10:00 am-4:00 pm, Monday, May 4, 8:00 am-7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 5 8:00 am-7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 6 8:00 am-3:00 pm. End times for the event may be negotiable.
