Where will the Annual Meeting be held in 2014?
The 2014 Annual Meeting will be held in Hong Kong SAR, China, from May 10 through May 14, 2014. Most meeting events will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre
(HKCEC) located on Hong Kong Island in the Wan Chai North neighborhood, 1 Expo Dr, Hong Kong.
How do I book a hotel room for the meeting?
The International Trademark Association (INTA) has carefully chosen PACIFIC WORLD MEETINGS & EVENTS HONG KONG, LIMITED (“PWHK”) as the official exclusive housing coordinator for the 136th Annual Meeting in Hong Kong next year. We understand that there are other companies/firms claiming to have some relationship with INTA and are offering discounted hotel rates. Rest assured that there is only one official exclusive housing coordinator and that is PWHK.
The other companies may not have blocks of room but merely resell rooms they have secured from another source; rooms must be fully prepaid, are non-refundable and may be subject to steep change fees; and, room types may not be guaranteed.
Find out more information about booking a hotel room for the meeting when registration open on January 15.
How can my firm or company organize a private event during the Annual Meeting?
One of the greatest benefits of attending the Annual Meeting is the chance to meet and network with attendees from around the globe. One way to do that is to plan your own affiliate event or host a hospitality suite. To plan and host an event in the city of Hong Kong during the INTA Annual Meeting, you can use the Affiliate Function Approval Form to submit your personal event for approval by INTA.
Any and all affiliate events including corporate, law firm, sponsor or exhibitor meetings, social events or hospitality suites to be held at any Hong Kong location (hotel, museum, restaurant, park, social club, etc.) should be reported to INTA prior to booking.
Completing the Affiliate Function Approval Form helps INTA assess the economic impact our meeting brings to a city. This information gives us greater negotiating power with future meeting venues to keep attendee costs as low as possible.
Please complete the form, and an INTA representative will contact you within five business days.
For additional assistance, please email questions to email@example.com.
Who can help me plan my affiliate event, find a location for my event or help me find local vendors?
