In July 2007, INTA’s Regular Member Committee conducted the Corporate Benchmarking Survey, selecting one individual from each of INTA's Regular Member companies to receive the survey. The survey was conducted online, with 158 Regular Members completing the survey and providing information on the operations of their various trademark departments.
Among other things, the survey collected data regarding staffing and management of trademark portfolios both through in-house personnel and out-sourcing services and tools, national and international trademark searching, clearance, registration and enforcement strategies, the role of the internet, domain names expenses, the use of holding companies and much more valuable information.
The survey results have also been sorted by the size of respondents’ companies by worldwide annual sales and personnel. This will enable you to view the answers as they relate to similarly sized companies.
