INTA committees shape, support and advance trademarks and related intellectual property.
One of INTA’s most important assets is the talented and dedicated group of 2,200+ member volunteers who serve on its committees and project teams. Participation on an INTA committee offers individuals a unique and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the advancement of the Association's objectives, network among their peers and raise their visibility within the international trademark community.
Committee volunteers, together with a dedicated professional staff, share their collective expertise, common interests and visions through more than 25 different committees that work on a variety of rewarding projects, including:

INTA's committees are organized into three groups by function, and within these committees are subcommittees and project teams that focus on specific areas.
Education and Services (ESG) Group Council
ESG Group Council, consisting of the chairs, vice chairs and staff liaisons of the ESG Committees, shares information; coordinates operational issues; and provides guidance and input on member benefits, services, programs, awards and competitions.
Policy Development and Advocacy (PDA) Group Council
PDA Group Council, consisting of the chairs, vice chairs and staff liaisons of the PDA Committees, shares information; coordinates operational issues; and provides guidance and input on member benefits, services, issues and policies.
Publishing (PUBS) Group Council
PUBS Group Council, consisting of the chairs, vice chairs and staff liaisons of the PUBS Committees, shares information; coordinates operational issues; and provides guidance and input on member benefits, services and publishing activities.

About Committee Selection
INTA's committee selection process occurs once every two years and is open to employees of INTA's member organizations. A committee term is two years. The next committee selection process begins June 1, 2013.
The deadline to apply for the 2012-2013 Committee Term was June 30, 2011. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any further requests for placement on a 2012-2013 committee. However, we encourage you to remain active. INTA has other volunteer opportunities including planning meetings, speaking at events and contributing to our publications.
