The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is preparing to launch more than 1,000 new generic top-level domain names (gTLDs).

For the first time, some new gTLDs will appear on the Internet in non-Latin characters – known as Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs). In fact, ICANN has prioritized the order of the expansion, so Internationalized Domain Names, or IDNs, will be the first new gTLDs to reach the Internet and potentially impact your brand.

This webcast will provide strategies for managing your trademarks in this evolving domain name space. Receive insights on:

  • How to translate your trademark and monitor for infringements in new gTLDs based on non-Latin scripts, including a case study on Chinese IDNs.
  • Advising your clients on considerations for registration, and which enforcement tools are available.
  • Developing a budget for protecting your trademarks in new gTLDs.
