Help brand owners protect their trademarks on the Internet in this 75-minute webcast.

Available now through December 31, 2011

Archived from previously recorded webcast.
CLE available in some U.S. states.

After years of process, debate, and negotiation, the .XXX top-level domain has been approved by ICANN and will go into effect in the fall. The ICM Registry is operating the .XXX domain as a sponsored TLD for the adult entertainment community. Now is the time to learn how brand owners can protect their trademarks before and after the Registry goes live to the public.

Learn about the Registry's rules including the new rights protection mechanisms being incorporating during the pre-launch, also called the "sunrise" period, and for the post-launch period, when domain names become available to the general public for registration. Hear from an industry expert and a Registry representative on the measures and options available to brand owners to protect their Intellectual Property in this latest gTLD.

Speakers:

  • Stuart Lawley, ICM Registry (United States)
  • Kristina Rosette, Covington & Burling LLP (United States)
  • Jonathan Robinson, IPRota (United Kingdom)

Moderator:

  • Claudio Di Gangi, International Trademark Association (United States)
