INTA Participates in India's Central Board of Excise and Customs' Anticounterfeiting Conference

On February 2, 2016, INTA supported the Combatting Counterfeits in Electronic Commerce – Evolving a Voluntary Code of Practice conference held by India's Central Board of Excise and Customs in association with Fidus Law Chambers.

The event took place in New Delhi and is the precursor to the drafting of an India-specific “Voluntary Code of Practice for e-commerce Portals” as a means for e-commerce portals to demonstrate their commitment to anticounterfeiting, which is expected to be formally released later in the year.

INTA President Ronald van Tuijl and INTA CEO Etienne Sanz de Acedo addressed the audience through this video message that was played during the event.
