China Recruitment Project Takes Hold

After, what is probably the longest distance anyone has covered in order to join INTA, Dr. Lieqiang Zou of CITIC (China International Trust & Investment Corporation), one of China's largest financial institutions, arrived in Boston with Stan Abrams, attorney with the Chinese law firm Lehman, Lee & Xu, and officially handed INTA Executive Director Alan Drewsen an application for membership.

The gesture, made by INTA's first Chinese corporate member, marks a major milestone in INTA's China Recruitment Project, which was developed in order to increase INTA's visibility in China and demonstrate the Association's commitment to increase representation and participation of Chinese companies in INTA.

The Project began with INTA President Kim Muller's visit to Beijing earlier this year and efforts have involved the labors of many members within the Pacific Rim including Edward Lehman and Stan Abrams of Lehman, Lee & Xu, as well as Laura Young of Wang and Wang.
