FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New York, NY – June 24 2016
Earlier this week, INTA assembled a Rapid Response Group to advise members following the UK Referendum on EU membership. Now that the UK has voted to leave the European Union, this team will prepare a report to be published in the INTA Bulletin in the coming weeks. While BREXIT initiates a period of uncertainly for brand owners, it is important to note that nothing will change immediately. This is the beginning of a process during which the UK and the European Union will negotiate the terms of the separation. During this time, the UK will continue being a full member of the EU subject to all its rules and regular activity. INTA will continue to monitor this situation closely and advise members accordingly.
