The 2018 Middle East and Africa Conference will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, December 10–11, at:

Hotel

INTA has negotiated a special room rate at the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights Hotel for the convenience of registered attendees. Based on availability, these rates will be available three (3) days prior to and three (3) days after the published meeting dates. 

Room rates are quoted in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) currency.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 pm. 

Regency King/Twin Room:
  

Single Occupancy: AED 650
Double Occupancy: AED 750
Triple Occupancy: The supplement for a triple room is charged at AED 150 per room, per night.  

Room rates are also subject to the following:
10% service charge 
10% municipality fee
5% VAT 

An additional “Tourism Dirham Fee” of AED 20 per room, per night will be applicable.  

Room rate includes buffet breakfast, complimentary minibar (nonalcoholic beverages), guestroom tea and coffee, and in-room Internet access.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

The deadline for hotel cancellations will be Friday, November 23, 2018.  Please notify the hotel in writing if you will arrive later than 6:00 pm local time, in order to avoid a cancellation. All cancellations and/or no-shows will be charged the equivalent of 100% of the accommodation rate for each of the nights reserved and not used. Fees shall be payable by the individual guest.

 Travel: Passport and Visa

 
All individuals from outside the United Arab Emirates require a valid passport to enter the United Arab Emirates. To determine if you also require a visa to enter the United Arab Emirates and the required documentation, please visit this website for more details. 

A Tourist Visa is required for all persons entering the United Arab Emirates. Citizens of the following countries do not require advance visa arrangements to enter the UAE and can obtain a visa upon arrival:

Andorra, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Holland, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, San Marino, Singapore, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United States, and Vatican City.  


All nationalities which are not included in the above listed countries are not eligible for a visa on arrival, and must apply for a visa through the UAE immigration authorities. Please be informed that the conference hotel will provide visa services only upon confirmation of your reservation at a Hyatt hotel. They will assist with processing tourist visa with single entry only, which is valid for 30 days with the below requirements:
  1. Hotel booking confirmation number.
  2. Clear color copies of passports of every traveler applying for a visa.
  3. Passport size color photo.
  4. Completed Visa Application Form.
  5. Completed signed Credit Card authorization form. The hotel requires a guarantee of AED 600 per application. This amount will be blocked on the credit card and will be released once the visit is completed and the guest has left the country.
 
Once all documents are received, the Visa application will be forwarded to the Dubai Immigration authorities, maximum 10 days prior to the guest arrival to hotel (Standard process). 

Note: Please be advised that Visa will not be processed for United Nations or any other travel documents, as well as for Diplomatic passport holders.

Official restrictions are in place for Israeli nationals and visitors should not have an Israeli entry stamp on their passport.

The visa process takes seven (7) working days, excluding Friday, Saturday, and public holidays. The cost is AED 350 per application. Please note that all visa applications are subject to approval by Government Authorities of the United Arab Emirates. It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that these regulations are still valid at the time of travel.
