Sign up today for an INTA roundtable discussion on the Cross-Cultural Role of an IP Paralegal and Tackling the Onel Debate and Proper ID in the European Union.
INTA’s first Paralegal/TMA Roundtable in London!
Tuesday, March 12, 2013
5:30 pm–7:30 pm
Paralegals have vastly different responsibilities around the globe. Join us for a discussion with a Manager of Intellectual Property from the United States about the role of the paralegal in the U.S. and what firms expect from their foreign counsel, as well as their foreign paralegal counterparts. Practical topics will be discussed and will include strategies you can apply to advance your own career.
During the second part of the round table there will be a short commentary on the issues of the CJEU decision in Onel, followed by a discussion on what constitutes genuine use in the Community. Time permitting there will be a further commentary and discussion on the impact of the CJEU decision in IP Translator and the effect on CTM specifications of goods and services.
This Roundtable has been developed specifically for and attendance is limited to:
• Trademark Administrators (TMAs)
• Brian J. Morgan, Marks & Clerk (United Kingdom)
• Karen Holme, Sunkist Growers, Inc. (United States)
