Trademark Licensing – Beyond the Periphery

Join your colleagues for an interactive roundtable discussion and learn about the history of and the issues surrounding trademark licensing.

July 8–19, 2013

Trademark licensing is the cornerstone of the monetization of trademark rights, and it comes with both benefits and risks for licensors and licensees. Join us at your local INTA Roundtable to discuss the history of trademark licensing and the host of issues that arise in drafting and negotiating a trademark license, including drafting suitable quality control provisions to avoid a naked licensing scenario, distinguishing a trademark license from a franchise agreement and other trademark-related agreements, potential liability of a trademark licensor, and the benefits, risks and challenges that arise for both licensor and licensing when entering into a licensing arrangement.

Note: Unless otherwise stated, roundtables are held from 12:00 pm–2:00 pm. Please bring photo ID to all roundtables in order to enter. Please note that roundtable registration is now online only.
