The implementation of the Italian opposition system

Join your colleagues in a lively discussion of the implementation of the Italian Opposition System.

Vicenza, Italy
November 18, 2014
9:00 am–1:00 pm

The Italian trademark Act has been amended in 2010 and 2011 and the executive regulation for the implementation of the opposition system came finally into force on May 1st, 2011. Since it had been considered one of the most relevant change in the Italian trademark law, some Italian Patent and Trademark Examiners may offer first-hand information regarding how the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (IPTO) succeeded in adapting its administrative organization, how the new system works and which leading case-laws should be considered in filing an Appeal in front of the Italian Board of Appeal.
