The federal government has introduced sweeping changes to Canadian trade-mark legislation and has recently released a consultation paper on the proposed Trademark Regulations. The consultation period ends November 30, 2014. The proposed changes will dramatically impact Canadian trade-mark practice and represent a fundamental shift to our law. Come discuss the amendments and what they mean to brand owners and the Canadian trade-mark professionals who represent them.
