Emerging Issues in the Electronic Marketplace

Emerging Issues in the Electronic Marketplace

October 17–28, 2016
Various US Cities

Commerce continues to shift to the digital marketplace. In this roundtable we will explore the trademark practice issues and regulations surrounding this fundamental change in doing business. Some of the topics that will be discussed are as follows:
  • The effect on  trademark usage as resellers and dealers become de-centralized;
  • How to combat the rise of small-batch counterfeit products that are being created in homes; and
  • How laws are keeping pace with the electronic marketplace.
The registration fee is US $50 for members and US $75 for non-members per person/per session and includes a buffet luncheon. Unless otherwise stated, roundtables are held from 12:00 pm–2:00 pm. Please bring a photo ID to all roundtables in order to enter.

INTA is seeking volunteers to host this Roundtable in various U.S. cities. All you need to do is secure an available conference room, order lunch and facilitate the conversation using the outline that has been developed. INTA will reimburse you for the cost of the meal. Please contact if you are interested in hosting this Roundtable.
