This program is intended for the practitioner whose practice emphasizes U. S. Trademark Prosecution. The discussion will deal with a practical review of U.S. Trademark Prosecution Practice. The basics of the application will be explored, including the proper Applicant, the elements of technical trademark use, the specimen requirement, the dates of first use etc. We will also explore some of the grounds for rejection of an application and the defenses thereto, including Surname, Section 2(d), Section 2(e) and more.
