Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Information

Continuing Legal Education accreditation has been requested from each jurisdiction with mandatory CLE requirements.

NEW PROCEDURE

To obtain CLE credit, you must attend the educational session and swipe your badge at the sensor equipment provided in each education session room. Only those persons who attend the session and swipe their badges will receive credit for that session.

INTA will maintain a CLE information desk on the Conference Level of the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. If your jurisdiction requires a specific form, it may be picked up at the desk.

You must register in this manner if you wish to receive CLE credit. CLE credit will not be issued after the Annual Meeting.

QUESTIONS?

  1. How many credit hours will I receive?
The approved credit hours for the Annual Meeting are determined individually by state. Visit the CLE information desk on the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Ballroom Level for a list of approved credit hours. Please keep in mind that not all states report their approval prior to the conference.

  2. How do I report attendance at the Annual Meeting?
INTA provides a Certificate of Attendance after the conclusion of the Annual Meeting. You can also print out your certificate through the 126th Annual Meeting Attendee Portal. Many states require each attorney to report his or her own CLE credits. Your Certificate of Attendance provides proof of your credits taken from INTA. For more information, please contact your State Bar.

  3. Will CLE credit be available for my state?
INTA applied for CLE credit in all MCLE jurisdictions requested. Please make sure to attend the education sessions and swipe your badge at the sensor equipment provided in each session room. Only those persons who attend the session and swipe their badges will receive credit for that session.

  4. How is the CLE information reported to my state?
The INTA CLE Administrator submits all information collected at the conference to each state. Some states require sponsors to retain their attendance record.

  5. How do I obtain CLE credit for speaking at a program?
Most states do offer additional CLE credit for speaking at a program. Please inform the INTA CLE Administrator at cle@inta.org if you need CLE credit for speaking.

  6. Who do I contact if I have questions?
Please feel free to contact the INTA CLE Administrator at +1-212-768-9887 or cle@inta.orgwith any questions.
