| Upcoming important dates |
» Wednesday, January 6: Registration Open. Visit the Annual Meeting preliminary program online beginning 12:00 p.m. U.S. EST to learn more about programming and to register and reserve your hotel room.
» Friday, March 26: Early Registration Deadline. Don’t delay. When you register by this date, you’ll be eligible to receive exclusive INTA member and nonmember discounts.
» Friday, April 23: Cancellation requests received between Saturday, March 21 and this day qualify for a partial refund of the base registration fee. An administrative fee of US $ 150 will be deducted. Additional events are non-refundable.
» Friday, April 23: No refunds will be issued after this date.
» Friday, April 30:
- Hotel registration deadline – no rooms will be available in INTA’s block after this date.
- Pre-Meeting registration deadline – registrations must be made onsite after this date.
- INTA Tours. Reprieve from your busy meeting schedule. Register for your tour before the deadline approaches. Tour cancellations will not be accepted after this date.

| How do I register for the meeting? |
You can register for the meeting online, please note the following.
» You must register for the Annual Meeting before you can reserve your hotel room within INTA’s block of discounted rooms.
» Registration will begin in January 2010 to coincide with many members’ fiscal years.
This process ensures that all registrants have equal access to available, discounted hotel rooms in INTA’s block on an equitable first-come, first-served basis.

| How do I reserve a hotel room? |
INTA has reserved a large block of hotel rooms at discounted rates for attendees of the Annual Meeting. To reserve a hotel room and obtain the discounted rate, you must first register for the Annual Meeting. Hotel reservations must be made through the INTA Housing Bureau by Friday, April 30, 2010 or until the rooms run out. Only hotel rooms booked through the INTA Housing Bureau by Friday, March 26, 2010 will be listed in the print Final Program & Attendee Directory.

| What if I wish to extend my stay in Boston? |
If you wish to arrive to the meeting early (before May 21) or stay later (after May 26), you must first make a hotel reservation online with the INTA Housing Bureau for the meeting, and then contact the INTA Housing Bureau at +1-800-221-3531 or +1-212-532-1660 to extend your stay.

| Is there shuttle service from the hotels to the convention center? |
Yes. Shuttles will run from select hotels to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center
at 15 – 20 minute intervals. Some hotels are within easy walking distance of the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. A shuttle schedule will be available for all attendees as we get closer to the meeting.

| How do I exhibit and sponsor at the Annual Meeting? |
|
Exhibition and sponsorship applications will be accepted on December 1, 2009. We will also notify all members via email when the exact dates and procedures are confirmed.

| Are there restaurants at the convention center or within walking distance? |
|
The Boston Convention & Exhibition Center has a Food Court above the Exhibition Hall featuring cuisines of Boston neighborhoods. The BCEC offers a free trolley service for attendees from the BCEC to many of the local restaurants. From 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. trolleys run every 10 minutes, and leave from the South West Level 1. Regular and Associate Member Registration
All employees of an INTA member organization are considered INTA members and are eligible for this registration category. To check your organization’s membership status, contact Customer Service at +1-212-642-1700 or customerservice@inta.org. Please note that membership is location-specific. The registration includes access to all sessions, continental breakfasts and breaks in the Hospitality Area, access to the Exhibition Hall, workshops, general receptions, pre- and post-meeting online materials and the print Final Program & Attendee Directory.
Professor and Student Member Registration
All individuals who are student or professor members of INTA are eligible for this registration category. For more information on student and professor memberships, please visit www.inta.org/go/membership. The registration fee includes access to all sessions, continental breakfasts and breaks in the Hospitality Area, access to the Exhibition Hall, workshops, general receptions, pre- and post-meeting online materials and the print Final Program & Attendee Directory.
Government Official Registration
Complimentary registration or special rate is available for specific government officials. For more information contact saguayo@inta.org. The registration fee includes access to all sessions, continental breakfasts and breaks in the Hospitality Area, access to the Exhibition Hall, workshops, general receptions, pre- and post-meeting online materials and the print Final Program & Attendee Directory.
Non-Profit Registration
All employees of INTA member non-profit organizations are considered members and are eligible for this registration category. The registration fee includes access to all sessions, continental breakfasts and breaks in the Hospitality Area, access to the Exhibition Hall, workshops, general receptions, pre- and post-meeting online materials and the print Final Program & Attendee Directory.
Guest Registration
A guest is a spouse, significant other, child, family member or friend whose occupation is unrelated to the trademark industry. A co-worker or associate within the trademark industry is not eligible for guest registration. A guest badge includes INTA conference transportation, attendance at the Welcome Reception and Grand Finale, continental breakfasts and breaks in the Hospitality Area, and access to the Exhibition Hall. A guest badge does not include access to educational sessions, and guests are thus not eligible for CLE credits and CPD points. Please note: Guest attendees are not listed in the Annual Meeting Final Program & Attendee Directory.
Non-Member Registration
Individuals who do not qualify as any of the above stated registration categories are eligible for this registration category. Not an INTA member? Join and save US $ 500 or more on your Annual Meeting registration fee (this discount applies to all individuals at your location)! A membership enrollment form is available at www.inta.org/go/membership; please note that membership is location-specific. Once your membership application has been confirmed, you will receive your member username and password, then you can register for the meeting at the member rate and reserve a hotel room. The registration fee includes access to all sessions, continental breakfasts and breaks in the Hospitality Area, access to the Exhibition Hall, workshops, general receptions, pre- and post meeting online materials and the Final Program & Attendee Directory.

Whom do I contact to assist me with planning my affiliate event?
|
|
If you plan to host an affiliate event, you must complete an Event Approval Form and submit it to INTA. INTA strongly suggests that you not hold events while the Annual Meeting sessions, committee meetings and exhibitions take place, or during the following hours (hospitality suites are the exception):
