Are You a First-Time INTA Annual Meeting Attendee Heading to Barcelona, Spain, in May?

¡Hola! INTA looks forward to welcoming you to our 139th Annual Meeting.

If you have not yet booked your travel logistics, we encourage you to visit the INTA Annual Meeting Travel Discounts page for special rates using the Star Alliance Network. Once in Barcelona, your travel will be taken care of, as all meeting registrants will receive complimentary passes for Barcelona’s public transit system and we provide INTA shuttles throughout the meeting.

Before heading to Spain, review the meeting schedule and decide which of the more than 300 educational sessions you plan to attend. Schedule time to visit the Exhibition Hall. Consider registering for our inaugural Lunch and Learn program. And don’t forget to block some time for Speed Networking—a fun way to meet new colleagues and build your business. Further, we have a session just for you: the Annual Meeting Registrant First-Time Orientation and Reception on Saturday, May 20th, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, where you can connect with annual meeting veterans and meet other first-time registrants. Additionally, make sure to attend the Opening Ceremony and Keynote Address as well as the Grand Finale at La Barceloneta Beach.

INTA’s Annual Meeting will be paper-lite, so please download the INTA Annual Meeting App for the schedule, room locations, and maps. We also encourage you to follow the social media buzz (and add to it!) using the hashtag #INTA17. We will be posting across Instagram (yes, it’s new), Facebook and Twitter throughout the week.

Our Annual Meeting will include more than 10,000 registrants. As per the Annual Meeting regulations, each attendee must wear his or her badge at all times to be allowed entry into Barcelona’s Fira Gran Via Convention Center and to gain access to meeting events.

As you begin to pack for the meeting, do not forget a box of business cards, comfortable shoes for walking in Barcelona’s Fira Gran Via Convention Center, and your e-ticket registration. Planning is essential if you want to take advantage of the Annual Meeting’s many benefits, so begin planning now!

See you in Spain! Safe travels!
