Commentary: Puma SE v. Forever 21, Inc.: Puma’s “Fenty” Slides May Not Have the Traction for the Uphill Battle Against Forever 21
 
 
This commentary discusses the pending litigation between Puma and Forever 21 where Puma alleges Forever 21 copied three of its proprietary shoe designs sold under Rihanna’s “Fenty” line. Puma asserts that all three shoes are protected by copyright and trade dress and one shoe is also protected by a design patent registration.
