Position Description
This is an IN-PERSON (NOT REMOTE), full time law office job with salary, benefits, paid time off, flexibility in schedule, annual raises and opportunities for bonuses and/or advancement. The position is now open for an experienced trademark paralegal (non-attorney) to help our trademark attorneys manage and maintain our clients’ domestic and international trademark portfolios, assist with trademark searches and responses to office actions, assist with new applications and to communicate with clients and foreign counsel about deadlines for maintenance, renewals, opposition and cancellation proceedings. Work schedule is flexible as to time, but requires regular attendance in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida (U.S.A.) office Monday through Friday with the exception of federal (U.S.) holidays for which the firm pays all full-time employees. The firm will be mindful and cooperative with relocation needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing domestic and international trademark portfolios, tracking and noticing clients of deadlines, communicating with local counsel, trademark searching and working with the uspto.gov website. (REQUIRED)
- Experience with AltLegal docketing software (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- Experience with Clio practice management software (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
