Daily Keynote | Forging Ahead on the New Journey: Five-Year Achievements and Future Blueprint of China's Intellectual Property Development
London, England
The year 2025 marked the successful implementation and completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan for Intellectual Property Protection and Utilization (2021-2025). This five-year period also constituted a crucial phase in advancing the implementation of China's intellectual property strategy. The Chinese government has consistently placed high importance on intellectual property work, achieving solid progress in the following areas: comprehensively strengthening intellectual property protection, promoting the efficient utilization of intellectual property, improving the public service system, expanding the scope of international cooperation, and fostering a favorable social environment that respects intellectual property. These efforts have yielded significant accomplishments across China's entire intellectual property system. The year 2026 marks the beginning of China's new round of five-year development planning. A new five-year plan dedicated to intellectual property will be released in due course. Building upon the solid foundations laid over the years, China will steadily elevate the overall development level of its intellectual property system.
