TM5 and INTA 10th Joint Workshop: Comparison of Composite Marks in a Likelihood of Confusion Analysis
London, England
In this workshop, presenters will introduce the principles applied by TM5 offices in comparing composite marks in a likelihood of confusion analysis, and present case examples for different types of composite marks. This includes marks where the word and figurative elements are visually separated, or marks where the word and figurative elements are presented as an integrated design. This workshop will provide a valuable opportunity for users to learn how to judge the likelihood of confusion between marks within TM5 jurisdictions directly from government representatives.
TM5 is a forum through which the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the Japan Patent Office (JPO), the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) exchange information and undertake cooperative activities with the aim of supporting global business activities through trademark protection.
This workshop is free of charge and open to all Annual Meeting registrants. No pre-registration is required.
