Shining the Light on INTA’s Newest Rising Stars!

Published: May 7, 2025

The Rising Star program, launched in 2022, aims to identify and cultivate future leaders and contributors to the intellectual property (IP) profession. At the end of each year, committee chairs, vice chairs, and staff liaisons identify rising stars within their committees and networks. We look for individuals who demonstrate a commitment to the IP profession or INTA through substantive IP or dynamic skills, such as achievements as a speaker, author, project team contributor, or committee contributor.

The latest group of Rising Stars met virtually at the end of April when INTA CEO Etienne Sanz de Acedo shared an “INTA 101” presentation, providing an overview of INTA’s priorities and primary activities. Then, 2025 INTA President Elisabeth Stewart Bradley, 2022 INTA President’s Award Recipient and former INTA Board Counsel Dale Cendali, and former INTA Board Member Michael Hawkins shared their journeys of personal and professional development within INTA.

Mr. Sanz de Acedo concluded the meeting by thanking the experienced leaders for sharing their INTA journeys and thanking the Rising Stars for all they have already contributed to INTA. He encouraged them to stay involved and to continue making a meaningful impact within our INTA community and beyond.

An in-person reception will be held at the 2025 Annual Meeting in San Diego, California, USA, on Saturday, May 17, 6:15 pm–7:15 pm, where all individuals identified as Rising Stars since this initiative was launched in 2022 will be able to mingle with each other as well as with members of INTA’s Board of Directors.

Join us in congratulating our newest Rising Stars!
