INTA's 2026 Annual Meeting took place on London, England, May 2–6. The Opening Ceremonies featured our 2026 Annual Meeting Co-Chairs Tanya Fickenscher and Lara Kayode, alongside the INTA President Deborah A. Hampton and INTA CEO Etienne Sanz de Acedo.

Together they explained how London is a perfect backdrop for a global gathering of #intellectualproperty professionals in 2026. They emphasized the role of INTA as a community, the importance of mentorship, and how the Association in fostering collaboration and guiding the profession through a period of transformation defined by geopolitics, rapid technological change, and evolving consumer behavior.

They were joined by our guest speaker, WIPO Director General Daren Tang. He provided deep insight and perspective into the state of play for IP in 2026.
