Legal Ethics and Professionalism for Trademark Practitioners

INTA's e-learning programs enable you to experience education from the comfort of your home or office, at your own pace and at minimal expense. Use your time wisely and meet CLE ethics credit requirements while exploring topics of specific interest to your trademark practice at “Legal Ethics and Professionalism for Trademark Practitioners,” offered with facilitator. This course can be taken at virtually any place at any time. It is provided in two parts for two CLE credits each and is geared specifically for trademark practitioners. Contributing faculty includes leading experts in trademark law.

The course includes:
  • A review of the American Bar Association Code and Rules of Professional Conduct as well as the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office Code of Responsibility
  • Discussion of issues arising from client relations in the context of trademark counseling and litigation
  • Practical tips on how to deal with ethics issues arising from searching and clearing trademarks marks, as well as those that arise in advocacy and litigation of trademark claims
