A Practical Guide to Trademark Technology Providers

Published: April 15, 2026

The Practical Tools and Technology Project Team of the Law Firm Committee has developed a Practice Technology & Tools database that provides an impartial snapshot of trademark screening, search, watch, and docketing services provided by 13 companies. They are located in Canada, China, and the United States, and other jurisdictions in which INTA has members.

The tool serves to help INTA members understand the service offerings of different technology providers. For each product, the spreadsheet describes the specific services available, the benefits, opportunities for further development, pricing, AI components, online functionality, geographic scope, language options, integration with national and international trademark databases, and more.

The spreadsheet provides in one place a basic and objective overview of the available features offered by new and existing companies that offer these services to trademark professionals. It will help practitioners to make basic, general comparisons of the different products and services to determine whether to seek more detailed information from the service provider or possibly shortlist providers for a more detailed proposal process.

This spreadsheet does not provide complete or detailed information and is meant to be a tool for practitioners to use to gain a general understanding of the services, features, pricing, and other information for each service listed. For more detailed information, interested members can contact the service provider(s) directly.

Although every effort has been made to verify the accuracy of this article, readers are urged to check independently on matters of specific concern or interest.
