2027 Annual Meeting Registration Update

Fees Held Flat, New Reduced Rates, and Exclusive Pre-Sale Opens June 15

As we prepare for the 2027 Annual Meeting, we are pleased to share some important updates to the Annual Meeting pricing structure and to announce an upcoming Pre‑Annual Meeting Sale (Pre‑Sale) that will open on June 15.

INTA has listened very carefully to the feedback shared by members and registrants. In revisiting the pricing structure, we have endeavored to balance this feedback with the overall cost of organizing an Annual Meeting, including the effort and financial investment the Association must make to deliver the high‑quality program and world-class experience that you have come to expect from the global IP community’s premier event of the year.

Core registration fees remain flat for 2027 (vs. 2026) | Despite year‑over‑year inflation and the impact of rising overall Annual Meeting costs, we will keep general registration fees flat in 2027 versus 2026. Specifically, Associate Member pricing remains unchanged from 2026, with early registration holding at US $1,725. And because the Annual Meeting returns to the United States in 2027, there will be no VAT, which helps keep the overall registration cost down compared with 2026 (when registration was subject to VAT as required by United Kingdom law).

Reduced fees for key categories | In addition to holding base registration rates steady, INTA has reduced registration fees for certain categories. This makes registration more accessible and supports broad participation across the IP community.

The Individual Associate Member rate has been reduced to US $1,425, down from US $1,725—a US $300 savings per person.

INTA is also introducing a tiered corporate pricing model with two early options available. The Corporate Member registration fee has also been reduced from US $1,725 to US $1,425. Corporate Members can also register at a lowered rate of US $1,225 (with an additional US $200 saving) by committing to support Annual Meeting promotions and programming. This could include providing your organization’s logo to be featured as an Annual Meeting participant, promoting the event on social media, utilizing a Business Suite in the conference center (upon availability), hosting a Table Topic discussion, participating in a Speed Networking session, or serving as a speaker or panelist in the educational program. We will provide more details of what’s involved in this new initiative to all corporate members very soon.

Pre‑Sale Opens June 15 | Our 2027 Annual Meeting Pre-Sale opens on June 15 and will run through July 10.

The Pre‑Sale is a thank you to returning registrants and is available exclusively to INTA members who registered for the 2026 Annual Meeting, in the following categories:

• Associate Members—$1,725
• Individual Associate Members—$1,425
• Emeritus Members—$675
• Government Members—$675
• Non-Profit (Associate) Members—$675
• University Members—$675
• Professor Members—$475
• Student Members—$275

All prices remain flat compared with the 2026 Annual Meeting, except for Individual Associate Members, who have a reduced price.

Registering during Pre‑Sale allows you to:

• Lock in the lowest registration rates;
• Gain early access to the hotel booking system before general registration opens in January 2027; and
• Confirm your participation early and begin planning your meeting.

All eligible members will receive an email on Monday, June 15, with further information and access to the registration system.

(Note: Associate group discounts still apply. Bulk discounts will be implemented in 2027 after general registration opens in January.)

Flash Sale Later in the Year—and Corporate Member Access | INTA will offer a Flash Sale registration window from October 1–31, 2026. All INTA members who have renewed their membership for the year 2027 will be eligible to register during the Flash Sale. Corporate members registering during the Flash Sale receive the discounted rates above and the same early access to hotels as the Pre‑Sale registrants—allowing hotel booking in advance of general registration. Pre‑Sale access is not currently available to Corporate Members, as INTA staff are working on the relevant systems and processes needed to support our new tiered pricing. With this new tiered pricing for Corporate Members, bulk discounts will no longer be available to this registrant segment.
