INTA and Kenya’s Anti-Counterfeit Authority Sign Agreement to Guide Future Cooperation

INTA President David Lossignol (right) and Kenya’s Anti-Counterfeit Authority Executive Director Elema Halake signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to guide the organizations’ future cooperation. Collaborative efforts will include training of customs and enforcement officials, promotion of INTA’s Unreal Campaign to educate young consumers about the value of trademarks and dangers of counterfeiting, and hosting anticounterfeiting-focused workshops and seminars. The MoU, which caps years of collaboration between the organizations, was signed on May 20 during INTA’s 2019 Annual Meeting.
