Tat-Tienne Louembe, Representative, Africa, Middle East, and Intergovernmental Organizations, attended the first official meeting of the Kenya IP/TM Caucus at the Kenya National Assembly on October 30. The caucus discussed INTA activities in the country and drafted a roadmap for 2020. Earlier in the week, Mr. Louembe spoke at a customs training hosted by the World Customs Organization and the Japan International Cooperation Agency in Nairobi, Kenya. The training provided an opportunity for brand owners, customs officials, and government authorities to interact and exchange best practices on anticounterfeiting in East Africa.
