IP Groups Host Successful Fundraiser for Hurricane Victims

Published: April 17, 2018

INTA and members of the Intellectual Property Constituency took a break from Internet and IP issues at the ICANN61 conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico last month to help raise funds for victims of Hurricane Maria. The groups raised approximately US $6,000 through generous donations from the event’s sponsors and guests. The money will go directly toward building 200 homes in Loiza, which was among the towns in Puerto Rico that were left decimated and without power from the hurricane in September 2017.
