INTA is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2024 President’s Award and INTA Service Awards, nominations and applications for the TMA (Trademark Administrator) of the Year Award, and applications for the Tomorrow’s Leader Award. The awards recognize the efforts of our dedicated volunteers to advance our Association and the interests of the global intellectual property (IP) community. Join us in celebrating the achievements of fellow members by nominating those who have distinguished themselves, and by encouraging outstanding practitioners to apply for a TMA of the Year Award or a Tomorow’s Leader Award.
The President’s Award acknowledges, with the profound appreciation of the global trademark and complementary IP community, those individuals of a member organization who, over the course of a career in trademark and complementary IP law, have epitomized our mission and made a lasting impact on our Association. In 2023, the recipient was John Welch (Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks P.C., USA).
The INTA Service Awards recognize individuals and organizations that have provided exemplary service to the Association during the previous year in three categories: Advancement of Association Objectives, INTA Members for a Better Society, and the INTA Membership Champion Award, for which INTA staff will submit nominations. Learn more about the 2023 INTA Service Awards recipients.
The TMA of the Year Award recognizes one exceptional non-attorney INTA member for their professional achievements and leadership in the trademark industry. This award spotlights the outstanding professionalism, dedication, and partnership that non-attorney practitioners provide to the industry. In 2023, the recipient was Sarah Staff (Microsoft Corporation, USA).
The Tomorrow’s Leader Award recognizes two outstanding young practitioners for their early leadership in the IP field. The winners’ package has been established to strengthen the professional and personal development of the recipients and raise their visibility as tomorrow’s leaders within the international trademark community.
