INTA Launches Anticounterfeiting Corporate Insider Series
Published: March 31, 2021
Calling all corporate members interested in anticounterfeiting! INTA has introduced a new series called Corporate Insider—a monthly discussion for corporate members to share best practices.
These hour-long virtual discussions bring together small groups of individuals from all industries to share “war stories” and successes in the fight against counterfeiting.
In each event, one brand owner presents for 30 minutes on an issue they faced and a solution they found, followed by 30 minutes of discussion. The closed-door discussions are designed to be an informal exchange of anticounterfeiting strategies.
INTA held its first event in February, during which a company producing personal protective equipment highlighted its development of a robust online enforcement campaign for goods that were in low demand before the COVID-19 pandemic.
The second discussion on March 24 focused on a member in the fashion industry’s strategy to deal with Internet fraud, phishing, and scams through clever counterfeit sites during the pandemic.
The next event will be announced soon.
If you are interested in hearing more about the Corporate Insider series or other events, please reach out to Maysa Razavi, INTA’s Anticounterfeiting Manager.
