INTA PAC Introduces “Terrace” Tier to Expand Access to Capitol Club Community

Published: July 1, 2026

The INTA Political Action Committee (INTA PAC) is introducing a new “Terrace” tier within its Capitol Club to enhance engagement for early-career professionals, emerging practitioners, and trademark administrators who would like to contribute to INTA PAC.

The Capitol Club is a membership program of INTA PAC open to eligible U.S. members who wish to add their voice to INTA’s advocacy work on key intellectual property (IP) issues.

The Terrace tier provides a more accessible contribution level (US $200 annually), enabling members to actively participate in INTA’s advocacy efforts while fostering connections within the IP community. This initiative underscores INTA PAC’s ongoing commitment to broadening participation and strengthening brand owners’ voices and perspectives in the political process. INTA PAC supports candidates for and incumbents in the U.S. Congress based on their positions on significant IP issues.

The Terrace tier is designed for those in their first five years of practice and trademark administrators. Members enjoy benefits that provide meaningful exposure to INTA PAC’s work, including:

  • Access to INTA PAC Receptions at the Annual Meeting and Leadership Meeting;
  • Opportunities to participate in one Capitol Club call with INTA’s lobbyists for insights on legislative developments affecting your business and practice;
  • Early access to registration for the Annual Meeting and Leadership Meeting;
  • Guaranteed access to INTA PAC receptions during major meetings; and
  • One “friend” pass per year to an INTA PAC event.

This tier is structured to introduce members to the value of sustained engagement with INTA PAC and create a clear pathway to higher levels of participation over time.

“The Terrace tier marks an important step in making Capitol Club membership more inclusive and sustainable for the next generation of IP professionals,” said INTA President Deborah Hampton.

Erin Hennessy, INTA PAC Board Chair, added: “We are excited to open new pathways for engagement, which reinforce the long-term strength of INTA PAC.”

The Capitol Club has long been the backbone of INTA PAC’s fundraising and engagement, with existing tiers—Gallery, Chambers, and Rotunda—offering a range of benefits based on contribution levels.

“The addition of the Terrace tier complements this structure by welcoming early-career professionals and trademark administrators who wish to engage with INTA PAC,” said Jenny Simmons, INTA PAC Treasurer.

The Terrace tier will be formally introduced to the INTA community at the upcoming Trademark Administrators and Practitioners (TMAP) Meeting, taking place September 27–29, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Details about an informal gathering of INTA PAC Board Members, Capitol Club Members, and eligible U.S. TMAP attendees will be announced soon.

The launch of the Terrace tier aligns with INTA PAC’s broader strategy to modernize fundraising, boost member engagement, and cultivate a strong community interested in IP policy.
