INTA Participates in China’s Global Trade Development Week

INTA’s Anticounterfeiting advisor in the Asia-Pacific region Valentina Salmoiraghi, and member of INTA’s Anticounterfeiting China Sub Committee Yu Bo, both spoke at the Global Trade Development Week (GTDW) in Shanghai from July 2-4. Ms. Salmoiraghi spoke about INTA’s Strategic Plan in relation to anticounterfeiting, including best practices for addressing the sale of counterfeit goods on the internet. Mr. Bo participated in a panel discussion concerning collective action to fight illicit trade and promote market integrity across regions. He stressed the importance of information sharing among anticounterfeiting players.
