Jose Luis Londoño, INTA’s Chief Representative Officer, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Association member Gustavo Giay (Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal, Buenos Aires, Argentina) presented findings of the Association’s recently released “Brand Value Special Task Force Report” to the Chilean IP Office on April 27. The Report explores concepts such as brand value, brand equity, brand valuation, and brand evaluation; and suggests that trademark practitioners should be stronger strategic partners with finance and marketing professionals in brand valuation exercises.
