INTA Representative Meets with Portuguese IP Office in Lisbon

Carolina Oliveira, INTA Policy Officer – Europe, met with the President and other officials of the Portuguese Industrial Property Office (INPI) in Lisbon, Portugal, on December 16. At the meeting, the two organizations presented their respective strategic plans and activities, notably on trademark legislation and practices and education and awareness raising on the importance of protecting intellectual property and fighting infringements, particularly counterfeiting. Future opportunities of cooperation between INPI and INTA were also discussed.
