Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We’ve had a very busy time in New York, New York, USA, so far this year.

Notably, last month we welcomed the Board of Directors to our New York City headquarters for our first board meeting of the year (and for our final gathering at our previous location, 675 Third Avenue). Among many other things, the Board voted to approve the 2026–2029 Strategic Plan—a major milestone for INTA. We look forward to unveiling the new Strategic Plan at the upcoming Annual Meeting Opening Ceremony next month.

In that same week, we hosted the second workshop in our workshop series entitled, Integrating Intellectual Property, Finance, and Valuation. (Dates for the Dubai and Singapore workshops will be announced soon.) This was followed by The Business of Trade Secrets Conference and the New York Pre–Annual Meeting Reception.

We’re now celebrating another milestone for INTA: We have just completed our third office relocation in the past 12 years, just a few blocks north, to 733 Third Avenue.

While change can be daunting, I want to take this moment to highlight the exciting opportunities this transition offers to both our staff and members.

Our new office is more than just a new address; it has been thoughtfully selected to better align with our evolving needs as an organization. The space is welcoming, functional, and designed to support collaboration, productivity, and the incredible work our staff does every day.

This move also represents a strategic decision for the Association. The new office will lead to significant savings, allowing us to allocate resources more effectively to better serve our mission and goals—and you—our members.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making this move possible. Special thanks also go to all who contributed to the planning, coordination, and execution of the move itself. This has been a team effort, and your dedication and hard work have ensured a smooth transition for the Association. Your efforts have been invaluable.

As our staff settles into our new space, let us remember that the concept of “home” at INTA transcends physical spaces. Our true home lies in the sense of belonging and purpose we create together. It’s the result of each of us coming together with dedication, passion, and commitment to do our best for the Association and its members. INTA’s home is where we collaborate, innovate, and uphold the values that drive our mission. It’s a space—physical and mental—where our collective efforts thrive.

We on the staff are moving forward with enthusiasm, embracing this new chapter for INTA, and continuing to make our shared home a source of pride and inspiration. At the same time, our doors are open to you, our members. We always enjoy when members stop in. This is your home, too.

Whether we see you in New York City or at one of our offices around the world, we hope to see all of you in San Diego, California, USA, next month for our 147th Annual Meeting.

Warm regards,
Etienne Sans de Acedo
INTA CEO
