INTA Spoke at Workshop on Counterfeiting

INTA participated in workshop on criminal enforcement against online trade in pirated content and counterfeit goods in Bangkok Thailand from August 21-23. Kowit Somwaiya, Managing Partner, LawPlus, Ltd., Member Board of Directors, and former Co-Chair, Global Advisory Council for Asia-Pacific of INTA (second from right) spoke on the panel session on the topic of Challenges for Consumers and Rights holders in the Global and Online Environment. He shared INTA’s anticounterfeiting initiatives. On the second day of the workshop, Seth Hays, INTA ‘s Chief Representative, Asia-Pacific, spoke on the topic of developing capacity and programs available for enforcement authorities and officials that are offered by INTA, including training and technology to combat trade in counterfeits.
