INTA’s President David Lossignol Meets with Russian Officials

INTA’s President David Lossignol (above) traveled to Moscow, Russia last week to participate in several meetings and events with government and industry officials to discuss issues of mutual concern. Among the topics discussed, Mr. Lossignol reiterated INTA’s longstanding position in favor of national (or regional) exhaustion of trademark rights in relation to the parallel importation of goods. Joined by Hadrien Valembois, INTA Policy Officer, Europe, Mr. Lossignol met with representatives of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, the Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, the Russian Brands Association, and the Eurasian Economic Commission.
