Judges Workshop in Peru Explores Andean Community Legal System

INTA was among the co-hosts of a Judges Workshop in Lima, Peru on December 6-7. The program focused on the Andean Community legal system and judicial interpretations in their applications by Peruvian courts, as well as current topics of interest in Peruvian Trademark Law such as non-traditional marks. INTA representatives at the workshop included (left to right) Miguel Angel Carpio (Carpio, Ochoa, Martinez, Brik, Mexico), the Task Force Leader on the Enforcement Committee charged with organizing the Judges Workshops; Iris Gunther, Advisor, External Relations Enforcement; and Jorge Allende (Allende Garcia, Peru) who serves on the Data Protection Committee.
