Bad Faith Trademark Filing Across the Globe—Summary of Survey Responses

This report, prepared by the Bad Faith Task Force of the Enforcement Committee, provides an overview of the prevalence of bad faith filings and the treatment of such filings in jurisdictions around the world. The survey was conducted in over 90 jurisdictions, and its results provided the basis for INTA’s Board Resolution on the subject of Bad Faith Trademark Applications and Registrations adopted in November 2020.
