Latin American Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition
Call for the Latin American Moot Court on Intellectual Property Law 2026
INTA, the Court of Justice of the Andean Community (TJCA), and the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI) invite law students and recent graduates from public and private universities across Latin America to participate in the sixth edition of the Latin American Moot Court on Intellectual Property Law, 2026.
Registration for the region’s leading intellectual property moot court competition is free of charge, and teams may consist of two to eight members.
The initiative seeks to promote the study and specialized research in intellectual property law among students and recent graduates of law jurisprudence from public or private universities in Latin America, in order to promote the development of their knowledge, professional skills and practical skills essential for the solution of legal problems in the field.
Application period: from March 23 to May 31, 2026.

Who can enter the competition?
The competition is open to teams of two to eight members composed of law students and/or recent graduates from public or private universities in Latin America.
What activities are involved in the competition?
Teams will first submit written briefs. A jury will review and advance selected teams to rounds of virtual oral arguments. Both the written and oral phases of the competition will be conducted in Spanish.
What are the benefits of entering the competition?

- US$ 3,000 as a financial incentive (awarded by ASIPI and INTA).
