INTA Co-Hosts Policy Dialogue in Italy on Online Counterfeiting

INTA co-hosted a policy dialogue with the Italian Patent and Trademark Office and INDICAM on July 2 in Milan, Italy, which focused on online counterfeiting. Maysa Razavi (right), INTA’s Manager, Anticounterfeiting , presented the findings of the Association’s new Gen Z Insights: Brands and Counterfeit Products attitudinal study; and INTA’s Anticounterfeiting Committee Vice Chair Myrtha Hurtado Rivas (Novartis International AG, Switzerland) highlighted the importance of educating consumers about programs like INTA’s Unreal Campaign, which teaches young consumers about the dangers of counterfeits.
