We are excited to open the call for nominations and applications for INTA’s most prestigious honors. These awards recognize the exceptional individuals and organizations that embody the spirit of leadership, service, and innovation in the global intellectual property (IP) community.

Join us in celebrating the achievements of fellow members by nominating those who have distinguished themselves, and by encouraging outstanding practitioners to apply for a Trademark Administrator (TMA) of the Year Award or a Tomorrow’s Leader Award.

President’s Award and INTA Service Awards

The President’s Award represents INTA’s highest recognition of individuals who, over the course of their careers, have made a profound and lasting impact on the global trademark and IP community.

The INTA Service Awards honor individuals and organizations that have gone above and beyond in advancing INTA’s mission. The award categories include the following:

• Advancement of Association Objectives;
• INTA Members for a Better Society; and
• INTA Membership Champion Award (staff nominations only).

The deadline to submit nominations for the President’s Award and INTA Service Awards is Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

The TMA of the Year Award celebrates the excellence of non-attorney practitioners, recognizing one outstanding individual for their professionalism, leadership, and contributions to the trademark industry.

The Tomorrow’s Leader Award celebrates the next generation of IP leaders, supporting early-career professionals with a winners’ package designed to boost their visibility and accelerate their professional development. Please encourage rising practitioners in your network to apply!

The deadline to apply for the TMA of the Year Award and the Tomorrow’s Leader Award is Friday, September 5, 2025.

INTA Officers will evaluate the nominations and select the President’s Award and INTA Service Award recipients. Members of the TMA Committee’s Leadership and Development Subcommittee will review applications and select the winner of the TMA of the Year Award. The Awards and Fellowship Subcommittee of the Young Practitioners Committee will evaluate and select the Tomorrow’s Leader Award recipients.

The winners will be publicly announced during the Opening Ceremonies of the 2025 Leadership Meeting taking place November 18–21 in Hollywood, Florida, USA. Winners will be notified in advance and invited to attend the Meeting for the formal awards ceremony.
